We're looking for an experienced Senior or Principal Developer Advocate with a passion for growth and a vision to take us to the next level!

What You Will Be Doing

• Working alongside the developer community by supporting/sharing knowledge with app developers
• Educate developers by creating content (written/video tutorials, technical blog posts, code samples, learning materials)
• Conduct instructor-led training sessions prepared by the education team
• Meet/engage with developers in-person and online to gather feedback, overcome tech challenges, facilitate design/development, etc.
• Spearhead/champion our technology
• Speaking at conferences, podcasts, external events
• Design/execute the plan to improve the overall developer experience
  

What You Need for this Position

Qualifications

• Hands-on Software Engineering/Development in Java
• Developer Advocacy/Relations or similar role
• Social Engagement and Communication expertise (Bonus: Strong Twitter, YouTube, social following)
• Public Speaking/Speaking Engagements experience and comfort
• Experienced in the creation of written/video educational materials
• Experience working for companies that create products used by other developers (databases, libraries, frameworks, APIs)
• Open Source Projects is a big plus
• Able and willing to travel to conferences and meetups both locally and nationwide
• Readily available references regarding communication skills and recently published content
• Experience with conduction training classes
