The Silicon Strategy Technical Writer to focus on internal communications for semiconductor, cellular, and wireless technology development within Facebook Reality Labs (“FRL”). This role encompasses conducting research, collaborating with stakeholders in Engineering and Product Management, drafting strategy and roadmap documents, and creating infographics and other presentation collateral. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about crafting narratives for and developing visual representations of new technology, and has experience and interest in silicon development.

Silicon Strategy Technical Writer Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop compelling narratives and visual aides that showcase FRL’s silicon and connectivity technology development and differentiation

• Edit strategy, roadmap, planning, and other internal documents for FRL’s silicon and connectivity technology development

• Create infographics and other presentation collateral for internal presentations to cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership

• Support drafting and editing of technical documentation, including requests for information/proposals, engineering requirements specifications, and statements of work

• Develop templates, best practices, and processes for SS&P’s internal communications

• Create and/or standardize templates for onboarding documentation, training collateral and other high-reuse reference materials

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree

• 5+ years of internal communications, PR, or product marketing experience in the tech sector

• Technical, analytical, research and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Experience synthesizing technical information and data into simplified infographics or diagrams

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with experience to conveying complex topics and technologies to a diverse audience
